One of the most iconic supercars of all time, the Ferrari F40 GT, was also a successful racing machine in various competitions around the world. In 1994, the Italian GT Championship saw a fierce battle between the F40 GT and its rivals, such as the Porsche 911 Turbo and the Lancia Delta HF Integrale. The F40 GT was driven by Francesco D'Amore and Oscar Larrauri, two experienced and talented drivers who had previously raced in Formula One and other categories. They managed to win four races out of ten, and finished second in the overall standings, only behind the Porsche duo of Fabrizio Barbazza and Massimo Sigala. The F40 GT they drove was painted in a striking white color, with red and green stripes representing the Italian flag. It also had a large rear wing, a modified front bumper, and wider tires for better grip and aerodynamics. This car is now a highly sought-after collectible item, and Tarmac Works has faithfully reproduced it in 1:64 scale, with exquisite details and quality. This is a special edition model, made in collaboration with ixo Models, a renowned brand of diecast cars. It is part of the Hobby64 series, which features limited edition models of various racing cars from different eras and countries. If you are a fan of Ferrari, or of classic GT racing, you will not want to miss this amazing model of the F40 GT.
